DD Form 2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement)

DD Form 2345 stands for Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. DD Form 2345 is the form you submit to the Joint Certification Program to become certified to receive export-controlled military technical data. It names your company, CAGE code, the person responsible for controlling the data, and describes your business activity.

By signing, you agree to protect the data, use it only for legitimate purposes, and not share it with unauthorized people, including foreign persons. The JCP reviews the form and, if approved, your certification is tied to your CAGE code.

Why it matters to a small contractor

Fill out the form carefully and describe your business activity specifically, such as precision machining of metal parts for defense spares. Vague descriptions are a common reason forms are sent back.

Example

A fabrication shop owner completes DD Form 2345, names himself as data custodian, attaches proof of business, and submits it through the JCP online system.
