Bonfire (Bonfire eProcurement portal (Euna Procurement))

Bonfire stands for Bonfire eProcurement portal (Euna Procurement). Bonfire is an online sourcing platform used by many public agencies to post solicitations and collect electronic responses. It is part of Euna Solutions and is sometimes referred to as Euna Procurement. Each agency has its own Bonfire portal page.

Vendors create a free account to download documents, ask questions, and upload responses. Submissions usually require uploading each requested document in the right slot and, for some bids, entering prices in an online bid table.

Why it matters to a small contractor

Bonfire is free for vendors and widely used by local governments. Upload early, check every required slot, and look for the confirmation that your submission is complete, because a draft that is never finalized is not a submitted bid.

Example

A small janitorial company responds to a city RFP on Bonfire. It uploads its proposal, pricing form, and insurance certificate to each requested slot, then clicks submit and saves the confirmation.

Bonfire: common questions

Does Bonfire charge vendors?

Vendor accounts and submissions are free on public agency Bonfire portals.

Do I need a separate account for each agency on Bonfire?

One Bonfire vendor account can usually be used across agencies, but some, like the state of Utah's U3P, may ask you to register within their own portal.
