SIGMA VSS stands for Michigan SIGMA Vendor Self Service. SIGMA Vendor Self Service is the State of Michigan's vendor portal, part of the SIGMA statewide system. Vendors register there to view and respond to state solicitations, manage their profile, and track payments. It replaced older systems including Buy4Michigan.
Many state opportunities over a set threshold post in SIGMA VSS. Smaller purchases may be handled directly by departments, so marketing to individual agencies still matters.
