CTsource (Connecticut State Contracting Portal)

CTsource stands for Connecticut State Contracting Portal. CTsource is the State of Connecticut's contracting portal, managed by the Department of Administrative Services (DAS). Its Bid Board lists open solicitations for goods, services, and construction, and you can search it without an account.

To create a vendor profile and submit bids electronically, you must register. Register under your exact legal business name as filed with the state. Connecticut also has separate SBE and MBE certification through DAS.

Why it matters to a small contractor

Register on CTsource under your exact legal name, allow pop-ups, and whitelist the system's notification emails so you do not miss bid notices. If you qualify, look into Connecticut's SBE or MBE set-aside programs.

Example

A small roofing company registers on CTsource and finds a DAS Construction Services bid for a roof replacement at a state building. It submits its bid electronically through the portal.
