What the job is
Base scope: Remove and replace rooftop AHU-2, its curb, and associated systems per plans and specifications; include all labor, materials, and equipment.
Lifting and safety: Existing unit weighs 16,097 lbs. Include a lift plan and fencing around any crane remaining onsite multiple days.
Interior repairs: Replace four 24x48 radial pattern air diffusers, similar to Nailor 92CBP RP aluminum with perforated center panels, and sixteen 2x2 ceiling tiles, similar to Armstrong 1728A Fine Fissured, in room 309.
Separate option pricing: Test, adjust, and balance exhaust fans EF-1 through EF-9 and supply, economizer, outside, and return airflows for AHU-1, AHU-3, and AHU-4 per sheet M-601; separately price an AHU-2 chilled-water coil energy valve with building automation integration per sheet M-704. Existing controls are by Mid Atlantic Controls Corp.
Schedule: Substantial completion within 240 calendar days of the start date, with final completion within 30 days afterward. Normal work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Labor pricing: Include applicable prevailing wage rates provided in the project manual.
