Services: Bedside peripheral venipuncture and specialty catheter insertion upon physician orders, with on-site service within four hours of each order.
Staffing: Vascular access certified nurses with current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Equipment: Provide infusion access equipment, catheters, supplies, and an ultrasound machine capable of transmitting images to Point Click Care. Use ECG tip confirmation instead of chest X-ray.
Pricing: Include rates for ultrasound guided PICC and midline insertion, port access, PICC removal and declotting, blood draws, dressing changes, consultations, and hourly nursing staff education. Include all travel costs.
Documentation: Provide procedure consents, chart notes, ultrasound images, and monthly procedure, response time, and infection statistics.
Term: One year with four optional one-year renewals.
