What the job is
Facilities: Hopkins Academy: 61,650 sq. ft., two floors, 5 full and 5 half restrooms; Elementary School: 62,084 sq. ft., one floor, 6 full and 6 half restrooms. Hopkins is mostly hard flooring; the elementary school is approximately half carpet and half hard flooring.
Schedule: 186 school/staff service days per full year, plus approximately 61 full non-school cleaning days; no cleaning on school holidays. Hopkins cleaning may start at 2:30 p.m., with a custodian present until 10:00 p.m.; elementary cleaning may start at 3:30 p.m., with a custodian present until 9:30 p.m.
Routine cleaning: Restrooms, locker rooms, classrooms, offices, library, gym, cafeteria, hallways and stairs; trash removal, disinfecting, vacuuming, daily floor care and scheduled weekly washing and dusting.
Deep cleaning: Annual hard-floor stripping and waxing, annual carpet extraction and additional cleaning as needed, desks and chairs, interior/exterior windows, restroom sanitizing, and wet cleaning of hard floors each vacation week.
Exterior work: Weed trimming around building perimeters and athletic-field fences every two weeks; no mowing.
Supplies and staffing: Schools provide chemicals, consumables and floor scrubbers. Include other equipment, labor and on-site supervision; personnel must meet school background-check requirements.
Pricing: Quote each school separately for November 15, 2026–June 30, 2027, and full years 2027–2028 and 2028–2029.
Required walkthrough: October 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., starting at Hopkins Academy. An authorized subcontractor may attend and must sign in identifying the company represented.
