What the job is
Equipment: Initially 20 passenger elevators and 3 chair lifts across both campuses; one additional elevator under renovation is excluded initially.
Term: January 1, 2027–December 31, 2028.
Maintenance: At least monthly visits per unit, including preventive maintenance, adjustments, lubrication, cleaning, routine wear parts, hydraulic fluid, and service reports. Routine visits are Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Inspections and testing: Support required inspections, annual and five-year testing, and correction of inspection deficiencies.
Emergency service: 24/7 coverage with response within two hours, immediate repair initiation, and highest priority for passenger entrapments.
Qualifications: Maryland-licensed elevator mechanics capable of servicing multiple manufacturers; company must be licensed, bonded, insured, and have at least five years of relevant experience.
Pricing: Provide monthly maintenance pricing per unit, hourly rates for additional work during regular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, and parts/materials markup. Include travel and all service costs; quote major component repairs and replacement parts separately.
