What the job is
Piping and freeze protection: Install new chilled-water piping from the mechanical room wall to the chillers, with insulation and 5W/ft self-regulating heat trace, controllers, and accessories. Design flow is 240 GPM per chiller at 55°F entering and 45°F leaving water.
Electrical and controls: Reuse existing electrical gear; provide new 600A fuses and required conductors and conduit modifications. Include single-point power connections and BACnet integration for enable, leaving-water setpoint, and general alarm.
Ductwork and access: Fabricate condenser-air plenums extending to the underside of the areaway grating. Remove and reinstall grating as needed for equipment access and protect the existing condenser.
