Cropping: Follow the prescribed corn/soybean rotation across 236.90 total managed acres, including 19.00–21.40 acres of unharvested sunflower habitat annually. Harvest corn and soybeans by October 31; no double cropping.
Cover crops: Supply seed, plant, and terminate cereal rye on designated fields totaling 86.60–169.30 acres annually. No termination before March 15 or roller crimping after May 15.
Sunflowers: Plant supplied Clearfield seed before May 1 at approximately 29,000 seeds per acre in 30-inch rows; provide required herbicides and fertilizer.
Operating costs: Include labor, machinery, other seed, fertilizer, weed control, soil fertility maintenance, and second-year soil testing. No dicamba, neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed, biosolids, or fall nitrogen except for wheat.
Lease obligations: Personally farm the land; include responsibility for leasehold taxes and rent guarantees. Maintain general liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, $1 million auto liability, and required workers' compensation.
