What the job is
Scope: Community outreach, application and renewal assistance, document submission support, reminders, follow-up, and coordinated referrals using BenefitsCal and Truv.
Additional support: Help participants understand work and community engagement requirements and gather documentation for qualifying activities, exemptions, or hardships.
Service access: A Sacramento County location open at least 20 hours per week, with capacity for high-volume phone and in-person assistance, plus virtual support.
Languages: Culturally responsive assistance in English, Spanish, and Russian through bilingual staff or qualified interpreters and translated materials.
Qualifications: Current 501(c)(3) status, existing Medi-Cal navigation services in Sacramento County, and at least two years of relevant experience.
Operations: Secure participant records, trained staff, monthly service reporting, and quarterly narrative and fiscal reports.
Term and pricing: February 1–June 30, 2027, with two possible one-year extensions. Please provide an annualized, itemized budget covering staffing, benefits, operating expenses, and indirect costs.
