What they need

ScopePrune and remove trees and brush near energized transmission and distribution lines; include herbicide stump treatment, chipping, disposal, and reseeding.
Crew capacityMinimum five fully equipped three-person crews available within 48 hours of request; up to ten may be needed. Include qualified line clearance personnel, a separate full-time general foreman, certified flaggers, and a licensed herbicide applicator per crew.
EquipmentEach crew requires a 60–70 ft over-center bucket truck, 12–14 cubic yard chip truck, minimum 12-inch brush chipper, tools, and traffic control equipment. Include GPS activity tracking and a cellular tablet with a minimum 12-inch screen per crew.
TermFrom authorization to start through December 31, 2027, with a possible one-year extension. Initial mobilization within ten working days; work volume is not guaranteed.
PricingProvide straight-time and overtime hourly rates for equipped crews, general foreman, and flaggers, plus standby and additional labor/equipment rates. Include materials, herbicide, disposal, travel, supervision, prevailing wages, and 15% apprentice labor participation costs.
