What they need

EquipmentUp to one minimum 25-ton heavy-duty wrecker and one minimum 5-ton medium-duty 4WD wrecker or rollback, each with an operator.
ScopeMove stalled, stuck, or abandoned vehicles from primary and secondary roadways to the nearest designated safe location.
Availability24/7 coverage with continuous operations in 12-hour day or night shifts; confirm assignments within one hour and begin work within one hour of acceptance. Assigned equipment must remain dedicated until released.
OperatorsAt least two years of heavy-equipment towing experience, with current DCJS registration and Traffic Incident Management certification.
PricingSeparate whole-dollar hourly rates for each equipment type, including operators, fuel, travel, mobilization, chains, tools, and supplies. The same rate applies to towing and standby across all shifts. Estimated usage is 100 hours per equipment type; quantities are not guaranteed.
Service periodStart date to be determined, through April 30, 2028.
