What they need

RemovalRemove the existing split-system chiller, refrigerant piping, associated piping and wiring, and screen wall; salvage the chilled water pump.
InstallationInstall an owner-furnished 20-ton Carrier packaged air-cooled chiller, model 30RC-0205610B-213, rated 208V, three-phase, with an operating weight of approximately 4,000 lbs.
PipingProvide 2-1/2-inch chilled water supply and return lines transitioning to existing 3-inch piping, makeup water piping, air and magnetic dirt separators, insulation, and temporary chiller connections.
Electrical and controlsConnect the chiller to generator-backed power, motorize seasonal changeover valves, and provide additional chiller heat tracing and double-wrap outdoor piping heat tracing with alarm-equipped controllers.
Site work and testingExtend the concrete pad, rebuild brick screen walls to match existing, flush the piping system, and provide certified water-flow testing and balancing.
ScheduleSubstantial completion within 45 calendar days of commencement; normal working hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
