What the job is
Locations and quantities: Approximately 23,900 linear feet total: 1140 East, 4270 South–4380 South, Millcreek (1,600 LF); Heughs Canyon neighborhood, Holladay (6,000 LF); Olympus Hills neighborhood, Holladay (5,800 LF); Parkview Drive, Park Terrace Drive–3892 South, Millcreek (5,300 LF); Cheyenne Street, 500 South–600 South, Salt Lake City (700 LF); and 11th Avenue, L Street–Virginia Street, Salt Lake City (4,500 LF). Existing mains range from 6–12 inches.
Pre-design: Survey and mapping, utility investigation with test holes, soil corrosivity review, hydraulic modeling for capacity, demand and fire flow, and construction phasing. Include seismic/structural analysis and trenchless replacement alternatives for 11th Avenue.
Design: Horizontal and vertical design, corrosion control, permitting, 60%/90% reviews, cost estimates, and final plans and specifications stamped by Utah-licensed engineers.
Support: Bidding assistance, construction submittal and RFI reviews, change orders, commissioning, as-built drawings, closeout, and public engagement through design and construction.
Schedule: Pre-design completion in February 2027; design completion and Phase 1 bid package ready in March 2027.
