What the job is
Scope: Client screening, assessment, individualized planning, outpatient treatment, and case management, with outpatient and case management services delivered separately.
Personnel: Qualified counselors and case managers meeting Pennsylvania licensing or agency supervision requirements and applicable gambling-specific training or certification requirements. No staff augmentation.
Service delivery: Maintain a Pennsylvania office for in-person services. Optional telehealth must use encrypted two-way video and meet HIPAA requirements; all clients must have an in-person option.
Session lengths: Individual treatment: 50+ minutes; group treatment: 60 or 90 minutes; case management: 15-minute units, limited to 120 minutes daily and 240 minutes weekly per client.
Requirements: Respond to referrals within one business day and maintain assessments, service plans, session notes, confidential client records, and discharge documentation.
Term: Five years, with one optional five-year renewal.
