What the job is
Scope: Launder, fold, sort, and return comforters, sheets, pillowcases, pillow covers, mattress covers, blankets, and other dormitory linens. Track quantities and separate damaged items.
Facilities and supplies: Provide off-site laundry facilities, equipment, detergents, supplies, and pickup/delivery vehicles.
Staffing: Provide onsite laundry services and a full-time onsite supervisor at Building 8-65, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, including holidays unless otherwise directed.
Pickup and delivery: Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, serving dormitories 8-66 through 8-70; primary pickup at the Building 8-67 laundry closet.
Term: One year with four optional one-year renewals.
Qualifications: At least five years of personal laundry service experience; all services must be performed directly without subcontracting. Personnel require background checks and site access clearance.
Inspections: Quarterly pest inspections and semiannual inspections by a certified pest control professional at the off-site laundry facility.
