What the job is
Schedule: Five days per week, excluding holidays, after facility closing and completed by 6:00 AM. Coordinate around evening meetings and maintain service during emergency operations.
Cleaning: Floors, carpets, restrooms, showers, kitchens, offices, meeting rooms, glass, entrances, and adjacent exterior areas; disinfection, dusting, waste removal, and dispenser replenishment, including daytime replenishment as needed.
Supplies: Include all labor, supervision, equipment, cleaning products, and consumables. Town Hall requires Green Seal or EPA Safer Choice cleaning products and separate trash, recycling, and compost collection. Paper products must contain at least 50% post-consumer recycled content; towels must be bleach-less and toilet tissue two-ply.
Additional services: Separately price twice-yearly floor restoration and carpet deep cleaning, plus annual upholstery and interior glass cleaning.
Security: Secure facilities after cleaning and verify Post Office lobby doors are locked after 9:00 PM, five nights per week.
Term and pricing: January 1–December 31, 2027, with four optional annual renewals. Provide annual pricing for each year, separating Public Works/Post Office from Town Hall and including taxes and fees.
Mandatory site visit: October 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST, starting at 6840 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516; tours of all facilities follow until approximately noon.
