What the job is
Start-up: April 1–May 30; test all irrigation heads, check rotation and leaks, and photograph and repair faults.
Shutdown: November 1–December 10; compressed-air blowout of irrigation, fountains, and water play systems, maximum 85 psi.
On-call repairs: Both sites, including 384 irrigation zones at Fresh Pond Golf Course; quote an hourly labor rate based on up to 120 hours annually and a $15,000 materials allowance with a maximum 10% markup. Use equivalent or better materials, minimum Schedule 40 PVC and NSF-rated poly pipe and fittings.
Controls: Hunter Pro-C, Rainbird ESP-LXME, and Toro Lynx.
Service terms: One year with two optional one-year renewals; firm rates including travel and equipment. Work weekdays, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; no subcontracting.
Qualifications: Irrigation Association CIC certification and at least three years of irrigation maintenance experience.
