What the job is
Storage tanks: Remove two existing tanks and install one 1,225-gallon, 140°F tank and one 580-gallon, 160°F tank, each 125-psig ASME-rated with 3-inch connections.
Expansion tanks: Replace one existing tank and install one additional 34-gallon, 125-psig ASME-rated diaphragm tank.
Plumbing: Modify and reconnect domestic-water piping; provide valves, gauges, relief valves, discharge piping, insulation, testing, and disinfection.
Access work: Temporarily remove and reinstall exterior louvers and exhaust ductwork; modify the intake plenum with removable panels and an access door.
Rigging: Provide crane, hoisting, and rigging for tank installation through the louver opening and an additional lift for a 3,960-pound transformer.
Alternates: Price outdoor-air plenum insulation and manufacturer-applied tank insulation separately.
Schedule: Substantial completion by April 30, 2027.
