What the job is
Acreage and term: 138.10 acres for crop years 2027–2031; lease runs March 1, 2027, or final execution if later, through February 28, 2032.
Crop rotation: Corn in 2027, 2029, and 2031; soybeans in 2028 and 2030. Annual cover crops required on 88.10 acres, with seed, planting, and termination at your expense. No double cropping.
Cover crop timing: Use approved species; no termination before March 15 or roller crimping after May 15.
Operating requirements: Personally farm the land and supply all labor, equipment, seed, fertilizer, and insurance. No dicamba, neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed, biosolids, or fall nitrogen application for corn or soybeans.
Soil maintenance: Maintain required soil fertility and perform soil testing in the second lease year at your expense.
Insurance: General liability of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, auto liability of $1 million per occurrence, and workers’ compensation as required.
