What the job is
Acreage and term: 86.50 leased acres annually for crop years 2027–2031; lease runs March 1, 2027, through February 28, 2032.
Crop rotation: Soybeans in 2027, 2029, and 2031; corn in 2028 and 2030. No double cropping.
Schedule: Plant soybeans by June 15; plant corn by June 1 and harvest by October 15.
Responsibilities: Personally farm the land and provide labor, machinery, seed, fertilizer, weed and pest control, and insurance. Pay leasehold taxes and maintain required soil fertility, including soil testing in the second lease year.
Restrictions: No dicamba, neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed, or biosolids. Fall tillage requires approval; fall nitrogen is prohibited except when planting wheat.
Insurance: General liability of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, auto liability of $1 million per occurrence, and workers' compensation as required.
Pricing: Provide the annual rent offered per acre and total rent for each crop year, plus the five-year total, excluding taxes.
