What the job is
Scope: Remove all accumulated drift from the bridge substructure. Verify debris quantities on site before quoting; provide lump-sum pricing.
Removal method: Attach cables or ropes and hoist debris from the bridge deck or road surface. No dragging debris across the streambed or equipment contact with the streambed. A crane on the bridge deck requires an approved detailed plan.
Disposal: Haul debris off site to a permitted solid waste facility or inert waste landfill.
Traffic control: Include traffic control and a certified worksite traffic control supervisor. No lane closures or traffic interference Monday–Friday, 6:30–8:30 a.m. and 4–6 p.m.; holiday restrictions also apply.
Schedule: Begin within 30 days of the prework meeting, reach 50% completion by day 75, and finish by day 120.
Pricing: Include labor, equipment, hauling, disposal, permits, and cleanup; show traffic control separately.
