What the job is
Area and term: Approximately 163.53 acres of roadside and drainage areas under a five-year service term; acreage may vary.
Mowing: Up to 26 cycles annually, including steep slopes and wet swales; maintain turf at 3 inches, plus or minus 1 inch. Include edging, trimming, herbicide treatment, litter and clipping removal, and brush control up to 2 inches in diameter and 7 feet tall. Include initial site reclamation in pricing.
Schedule: Complete each cycle within 12 calendar days, excluding Sundays. Work hours are 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Saturday, excluding holidays.
Additional services: As-needed turf fertilization, additional litter removal, planted-bed and tree maintenance, tree and plant replacement, dead or fallen tree removal, tree straightening, sodding, and asphalt-edge maintenance.
Resources: Include all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, hauling, and disposal. Herbicide applicators require active Florida commercial licensing in categories 6, 5A, and 21.
Pricing: Provide unit rates per acre for mowing, turf fertilization, and additional litter removal; per square foot for beds and sod; per tree or plant for tree services and replacements; and per linear foot for asphalt edging.
