Service volume: At least 35 routes for approximately 180 instructional days, with additional summer routes as needed.
Vehicles and riders: Air-conditioned Type D buses for general education routes and appropriately equipped vehicles for students needing wheelchair access, restraints, or attendants.
Operations: Qualified, cleared drivers; dispatch coverage from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and standby vehicles and drivers able to reach a breakdown within 15 minutes.
Technology: Routing, live GPS tracking, parent notifications, student ridership tracking, and reporting to support invoice verification.
Pricing: Include hourly rates for drivers, attendants, substitute drivers, summer routes, and field trips, plus any technology costs.
