Tires: OEM-approved transit radial tires in sizes 305/85R22.5, 315/80R22.5, and 305/70R22.5; minimum speed ratings of 75 mph for intercity buses and 68 mph for city buses.
Service: Provide onsite personnel, tools, mounting, balancing, repairs, retreading, regrooving, spare inventory, delivery, and disposal. Inspect the fleet weekly and mall buses daily; provide seasonal traction tires October 1–April 30.
Term: Anticipated start January 1, 2027, for one year, with four optional annual renewals.
Pricing: Quote per-tire-mile rates by bus group and a fixed monthly service charge for the base year and each renewal year, including all labor, equipment, materials, and delivery.
Existing inventory: A new provider must purchase the existing tire inventory within 30 days of startup; estimated value is $1,059,751, subject to final valuation.
