What the job is
Services: Screen eligibility, gather medical records, prepare SSI, SSP, RSDI and SSDI applications, and provide representation through appeals and final hearings.
Volume and targets: Evaluate at least 25 adult and five youth referrals monthly; complete screenings within 30 days, file 75% of qualifying applications within 60 days, and achieve at least 75% annual approval.
Schedule and term: On-site services Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., excluding designated holidays, from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030.
Staffing: SOAR-trained direct service staff and appropriately trained or licensed medical-record reviewers; translation support for Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Farsi.
Included costs: Client transportation coordination, staff equipment, administrative facilities, secure case records and monthly reporting. Services must be free to clients.
Experience: Orange County location and at least five consecutive recent years providing similar services.
