What the job is
Term: December 1, 2026–November 30, 2029; services requested as needed.
Scope: Stenographic reporting of hearings and meetings, audio/video transcription, and real-time reporting and CART upon request.
Qualifications: California-based provider with valid CSR credentials and at least five years of court reporting and transcription experience.
Scheduling: Reporter coverage with 72 hours’ notice or less in special circumstances; occasional evening work with one day’s notice.
Deliverables: Word and PDF transcripts, with original plus one copy or electronic-only delivery. Turnaround ranges from same day to 11–15 working days; same-day final transcripts may be required by 7:00 p.m. Pacific.
Pricing: Please provide regional per-page rates by turnaround and delivery format, full-day and half-day appearance fees, evening/weekend rates, and any hold, cancellation, delivery, or travel charges. Rates must remain fixed throughout the term.
Records: Secure eight-year retention; transcript corrections within five business days at no additional charge.
