What they need
- Project areasGreat Divide: 488 plots on 3,523 acres; Washburn: 622 plots on 4,025 acres; Medford-Park Falls: 250 plots on 1,654 acres; Eagle River-Florence: 447 plots on 2,753 acres. Quote any areas you can cover.
- FieldworkReview aerial imagery, verify and update stand boundaries, establish and mark plots, and collect stand and tree data using Region 9 CSE protocols.
- MeasurementsUse a 10 BAF prism for live and dead trees at least 1 inch DBH, except Eagle River-Florence, which requires at least 5 inches DBH. Include at least one site tree per stand with height and age measurements, plus snag height and decay data.
- DeliverablesRecord data in Exams Mobile using your own Android tablets; provide GPS plot coordinates accurate within 10 meters and updated stand maps or shapefiles. Develop plot locations for prior approval in all areas except Eagle River-Florence, where initial locations are provided.
- ScheduleSubmit all data by August 31, 2027; complete corrections and final acceptance by September 30, 2027.
- PricingProvide a price per plot and total for each selected area, including labor, equipment, travel, and supplies. Additional plots use the same per-plot rate. A $2,000 performance bond is required per area.
