What the job is
Term: Initial 12 months, with up to four annual extensions.
Operations: Manage budgets, assessments and collections, financial audits, records, vendors, monthly board reports, and quarterly and annual meetings.
Programs: Oversee research projects, grant applications and reporting, domestic and international marketing, industry relations, grower training, and an annual field day.
Qualifications: Relevant bachelor's degree plus seven years of similar experience, or equivalent education/experience; at least five years of upper-level management experience. Washington blueberry industry knowledge and experience in marketing, grants, contracts, and agricultural research required.
Facilities: Provide your own office space, equipment, computers, software, and internet services.
Insurance: General liability of $2 million per occurrence/$4 million aggregate; auto liability of $1 million; employer's liability of $1 million and workers' compensation as applicable.
Pricing: Provide an annual rate including travel, facilities, equipment, and insurance, excluding taxes. First-year budget is up to $90,000.
