Brine salt: Industrial fine-grain salt and industrial solar salt in 23–25-ton loads; solar salt requires pneumatic blower unloading into brine mixers and source, grade, purity, and particle size details.
Bagged salt: Sodium chloride in sealed, moisture-resistant 25-lb and 50-lb bags, palletized and shrink-wrapped; state minimum order quantities.
Standards: Applicable de-icing products must meet ASTM D632 and/or AASHTO M143; include product data sheets and safety data sheets.
