What the job is
Scope: As-needed repairs, fabrication, modifications, and structural weld inspections for vehicles, trailers, snowplows, heavy equipment, fire apparatus, and buses.
Capabilities: Various thicknesses of carbon steel, aluminum, structural steel, and high-strength steel; MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and plasma cutting.
Qualifications and equipment: Certified provider with at least three years’ experience, owned equipment, and all necessary labor, tools, materials, and PPE; able to work in adverse weather.
Response: Within four hours during Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; outside those hours, as soon as possible and by 10:00 a.m. the next business day, with emergency response as needed.
Duration: Initial two-year term with three optional one-year renewals.
Pricing: Quote a flat service-call fee for non-hourly work, including travel and expenses, limited to one per incident; hourly rates for a certified welder and apprentice/laborer; and parts/materials markup, capped at 10% of actual cost.
