What the job is
Delivery: 100% remote services, primarily supporting the lead school nurse.
Clinical scope: Annual standing orders and prescriptions for emergency stock medications, medication protocol review, consultation on complex student conditions, individualized healthcare and emergency action plans, and nursing guidance.
Availability: Prompt responses to urgent calls, texts, and emails during school hours, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a backup plan for unavailable periods.
Qualifications: Active, unrestricted Utah MD, DO, or APRN/NP license; active physical medical practice in Utah; prescribing authority and DEA registration if applicable.
Insurance: Professional liability coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate.
Term: Anticipated start November 1, 2027, for one year with four optional annual renewals.
