Staffing: Estimated needs are 1 clinical facilitator, 5 general education teachers, 5 special education teachers, 5 educational assistants, and 1 counselor.
Schedule: January 1–June 30, 2027, with an estimated 92 workdays per position; 7 hours daily for all roles except educational assistants at 6 hours daily.
Qualifications: Teachers must hold appropriate Hawaii teaching licenses; counselors must hold an applicable Hawaii clinical license and have at least 1 year of postmaster's experience. Clinical facilitators need a special education or related bachelor's degree or special education teaching license, plus relevant program experience. Educational assistants must meet applicable education or assessment requirements.
Placement requirements: Fingerprint background checks and current TB clearance before placement; two-step TB testing for hospital-based residential and skilled nursing settings. Qualified replacements required within 24 hours.
Agency requirements: Oahu office, Hawaii-based contact, and at least 3 years of educational staffing experience.
Pricing: Provide an all-inclusive hourly rate for each role, including supplies, transportation, screening, insurance, taxes, and overhead. Minimum base wages are $44.60/hour for teachers and counselors and $24.35/hour for educational assistants.
