What the job is
Scope: Remove existing signs and furnish/install 164 scheduled room, restroom, exit, stair, elevator, occupancy, and fire riser signs. Field verify quantities, locations, and wall materials.
Sign system: 2/90 Sign Systems Slide modular system or approved comparable product; 9/32-inch-thick aluminum with slim line end caps and square corners. Sizes and messages per drawings.
Graphics: Trade Gothic Bold No. 2 font, specified white/purple/taupe grey colors, raised characters, and Grade 2 Braille complying with ICC A117.1 Section 703. Applied letters and beaded Braille are not acceptable.
Installation and repairs: Use screws and anchors with tamper-resistant frame screws; tape permitted only on glass. Provide matching backup panels at glass locations. Remove fasteners and adhesive, patch walls, and repaint repairs to match.
Submittals and extras: Include shop drawings, a full-size sign sample, wall repair mockup, 12 replacement text inserts and interchangeable characters of each type, and one specialty tool set.
Schedule: Start November 23, 2026; substantial completion February 1, 2027; final completion February 12, 2027.
