Quantities and datesGrapevine: 165 laptops, April 5–23, 2027, approximately 5 days/week; Austin: 65 laptops, April 12–23, approximately 5 days total; Houston: 85 laptops, April 12–23, approximately 4 days/week; San Antonio: 60 laptops, April 12–23, approximately 2 days/week. Include additional replacement laptops; final quantities confirmed by mid-February.
Laptop specificationsBusiness laptops with minimum Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD, 14–15-inch screen, Windows 11, speech-to-text software, and the required testing browser installed and ready on the provided Wi-Fi.
AccessoriesWired mouse and mouse pad per laptop, power cords, surge protectors, and extension cords accommodating 3-foot student spacing; safely tape down cords.
Delivery and setupInclude delivery, complete setup starting at 6:30 AM, and takedown. Outside Grapevine, repeat setup/takedown each week and arrange offsite weekend storage unless otherwise approved. Grapevine requires one setup and final takedown.
Onsite supportAt least one technician per site each testing day, arriving at 8:30 AM in Grapevine and 9:30 AM elsewhere on non-setup days; remain until testing ends, approximately 3:00 PM in Grapevine and 4:00 PM elsewhere.
Staff and coverageSetup staff and technicians must complete background checks, a 30-minute virtual testing security training, and a security oath. Include customer support from 6:00 AM–6:00 PM Central and accidental damage and theft coverage.
