What the job is
Scope: Maintain and repair traffic control devices, including emergency pole replacement, new control boxes, and service transfers. Provide materials, trucks, tools, testing equipment, transportation, and work zone traffic control.
Coverage: Available 24/7, including holidays. Respond on site within 1 hour Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–6 p.m.; within 1.5 hours at other times; dispatch immediately for dangerous conditions.
Restoration: Restore normal operation within 24 hours or provide substitute equipment at no additional charge; repair and return existing equipment within 15 days.
Qualifications: Electrical technicians must hold current IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level II certification. Minimum 5 years of experience under the current business name; comply with applicable electrical codes, PennDOT Publications 191 and 203, and wage and union requirements.
Pricing: Provide separate hourly labor and truck rates for weekday scheduled/emergency service, after-hours emergency service, and emergency pole replacement, plus materials markup. Include all associated costs; transportation carries no additional charge.
