What the job is
Rock coring: Continuous NQ, HQ, and PQ coring; capability to reach at least 800 feet below grade and advance PQ core to at least 200 feet. Minimum 90% average core recovery per borehole, subject to geological conditions.
Soil sampling: Overburden drilling, casing, split spoon (SPT), and Shelby tube sampling as required, following PennDOT Publication 222.
Site services: Provide equipment, labor, consumables, water hauling, borehole decommissioning, and site restoration. Core boxes and borehole logging are provided.
Schedule: January 1–December 31, 2027; begin each project within 45 days of the work request. All work must be performed directly without subcontracting.
Pricing: Please provide unit rates for drilling, casing, sampling, coring, and decommissioning; flat mobilization fees including water logistics; and hourly rates for between-site moves, restoration, and standby. Coring rates must be independent of core diameter.
