What the job is
Scope: Care for dependent children ages 17 and younger while parents participate in residential, outpatient, or intensive outpatient substance use disorder or problem gambling treatment.
Service period: July 1, 2027–June 30, 2032, with annual renewals.
Provider qualifications: Currently provide substance use disorder childcare services in Washington County, hold an active Oregon Health Authority outpatient treatment license, and meet applicable Oregon childcare requirements.
Staff requirements: Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification, child abuse recognition and reporting training, and Oregon Food Handler’s certification if food is provided.
Service standards: Evidence-based or promising practices, quality assurance, quarterly reporting, and compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements.
Insurance: General liability ($500,000), workers’ compensation, auto liability ($1 million/$2 million) with additional insured endorsement, professional liability ($1 million/$3 million), cybersecurity, and sexual abuse and molestation liability ($3 million).
