What the job is
Schedule: April 1–November 30 for the 2027, 2028, and 2029 seasons; include all materials and equipment and separate annual pricing.
Land care standards: Follow NOFA Organic Land Care standards and integrated pest management, including regular pest monitoring.
Spring work: Cleanup, bed edging and weeding, shrub and small-tree pruning, annual soil testing, and approved spring and summer soil amendments.
Mulch: Supply and install approximately 35 cubic yards of fine shredded pine bark; remove all existing mulch in 2027. Apply 3 inches around trees and shrubs and 1½–2 inches in ground-cover beds.
Tree care: Include 8 labor hours plus a bucket truck for spring deadwood removal; identify a certified arborist and provide hourly rates for additional tree work.
Routine maintenance: Biweekly litter removal, edging, weeding, and pest monitoring. Mow Zone 1 approximately 18 times annually at 3–3½ inches and Zone 2 approximately 8 times at a minimum of 4 inches.
Fall work: Multiple cleanup visits, leaf mulching and removal, and soil-test-based amendments with aeration and overseeding. Provide separate fixed pricing for core aeration in each turf zone.
