Primary routes: Shady Grove to Dickerson: estimated 1,950 loads/40,000 tons, year-round. Silver Spring to Dickerson: estimated 525 loads/10,000 tons, mainly November–January.
Additional routes: Dickerson to Shady Grove, backhaul only: 500 estimated loads; Dickerson to Oaks Landfill, 6001 Olney Laytonsville Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882: 100 estimated loads; Shady Grove to 5402 Van Dusen Road, Laurel, MD 20707: 100 estimated loads. These routes are as needed.
Equipment and material: Provide trucks, drivers, and top-loading trailers with 80–100 cubic yard capacity, secure tarps, and at least one foot of freeboard for grass, leaves, brush, and tree limbs. Loading is provided onsite; hauling and unloading are your responsibility.
Schedule: Complete requested daily loads with same-day delivery; accommodate immediate storm-related requests and extended hours. Dickerson receiving hours are generally Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., expanding to Monday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., November 1–December 23.
Pricing and duration: Quote separately per load for all five routes, including extended hours and any requested weekend or holiday work at the same rate. Quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed. Initial service period is two years, with three optional one-year extensions; start within seven calendar days of notice to proceed.
