What the job is
Volume: Approximately 29,000 assets valued at over $4 billion; item and location counts may increase.
Schedule: Five-year engagement with comprehensive inventories in Years 1 and 4 and annual sensitive-item inventories. Initial inventory work is scheduled for February–June 2027, with the first final report due September 30, 2027.
Services: Count assets by location, reconcile existing records, investigate discrepancies, document unrecorded assets and relocations, and replace inventory stickers with dated labels.
Deliverables: Excel inventory and progress reports every two weeks, final reconciliation reports, and a signed inventory validation memo.
Staffing and access: Provide experienced project and site managers and inventory teams. Rail-site personnel need current RWP, CSX, and Amtrak certifications; include training labor and all travel costs.
Pricing: Provide fixed pricing for each year and a total five-year quote, including labor, materials, reporting, and expenses.
