Cleaning: Clean and restock restrooms, remove trash and recycling, vacuum, mop, clean surfaces, and pick up exterior litter.
Schedule: Four highway facilities need Tuesday/Thursday service, 7am–3pm; Point of Rocks needs Thursdays, 9am–3pm; Hillcrest needs weekdays after 7pm. Libraries and Emmitsburg need 5–7 visits weekly, with library cleaning after closing.
Weekend service: C. Burr Artz Library needs Saturday/Sunday cleaning, 3–5pm, with no periodic work. Seasonal restrooms need Saturdays at Othello and Saturdays/Sundays at Utica Park, 8pm–10pm, March 1–December 1.
Periodic cleaning: Scrub restroom floors monthly; deep-clean carpets and dust high surfaces quarterly; scrub vinyl composition tile floors at least twice yearly; wash windows inside and outside twice yearly. Urbana Library may require a lift.
Provider requirements: Have at least five years of custodial business experience, perform all services directly without subcontracting, and provide labor, tools, and equipment. Cleaning chemicals, floor chemicals, trash liners, and restroom supplies are provided onsite.
