What the job is
Bermuda fields #1 and #3: Per field annually: 72 minimum reel mowings at 1 inch or lower, 6 aerations, 2 dethatchings, 2,000 lbs overseeding, fertilization, weed/insect/fungus control, and 3 topdressings with 20 tons of USGA sand each. Include annual goal-mouth sodding, approximately 1,000 sq. ft. per field; price soccer lining and touch-ups separately.
Bluegrass fields #4 and #5: Per field annually: 64 minimum mowings at 1½–2 inches with striping, 6 aerations, 8 fertilizer applications, 3 overseedings at 3 lbs/1,000 sq. ft., weed/grub control, 5 fungicide treatments, 2 soil/tissue tests, and 2 topdressings with 20 tons of USGA sand each. Include annual goal-mouth sodding; verify quantities onsite.
Surrounding grounds: Maintain grass, shrubs, beds, and areas within and 5 feet outside the fence. Include 24 non-playing turf mowings and edging visits, weed control, spring cleanup, 3 fall leaf removals, and shot-put area maintenance twice monthly April–October.
Irrigation: Spring startup, 3 system checks, winterization, weekly head inspections during use, and checks after weekend track meets on fields #1 and #5.
Separate pricing: Optional field blankets for all four fields, annual spot sodding/restoration up to 5,000 sq. ft., hourly irrigation repair and additional-work rates, and material markup.
Qualifications: At least 5 years of comparable maintenance experience, applicable Maryland/Howard County licenses, and a turf supervisor with a horticulture degree and 3 years of supervisory sports turf experience.
