What the job is
Crisis response: Rapid deployment of licensed mental health professionals for on-site and/or virtual support after acute incidents.
Services: Psychological first aid, individual and small-group crisis counseling, staff consultation, family consultation, post-crisis stabilization, and referrals for ongoing care.
Prevention: Staff training for suicide prevention/postvention, domestic violence awareness, early warning signs, trauma-informed practices, screening, and tiered RTI supports.
Planning: Case management review, recommendations, and development of a citywide crisis prevention and response framework with school-facing protocols.
Requirements: Licensed mental health staff, PK-12 or comparable crisis intervention experience, culturally responsive services, privacy compliance, and professional liability insurance.
