What the job is
Scope: Provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for plowing, sidewalk clearing, and deicing of parking areas, walkways, stairs, and ramps.
Equipment: Minimum 3/4-ton four-wheel-drive trucks with salt spreaders and a minimum 7-foot plow; minimum 45 HP skid steer with a 4-foot bucket available as needed. Include equipment makes and models.
Coverage: Typically weekdays, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. for vehicle areas and 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. for pedestrian areas, with earlier starts, extended hours, and weekend service at designated sites. Maintain weather monitoring and availability for callbacks within 45 minutes.
Pricing: Quote hourly rates for trucks with operators, skid steer with operator, and sidewalk clearing with equipment; road salt per ton, pedestrian-grade granular and blended deicers per pound, 23.3% salt brine per gallon, and coarse sand per pound. Bill onsite snow and ice work in quarter-hour increments, excluding travel and inspections.
Service period: From award through August 31, 2027.
