Service period: December 1, 2026–December 31, 2027, on an as-needed basis; estimated hours are not guaranteed.
Primary excavator: Estimated 6,000 hours; minimum 145 HP, 46,000 lb operating weight, 25 ft boom, 1.5 cu yd bucket, 42-inch toothed rock bucket, and hydraulic thumb or grapple.
Additional excavators: Long reach: 50 ft boom, 140 HP, 48,000 lb, 1 cu yd bucket, thumb or grapple; 30-metric-ton class: 180 HP, 63,000 lb, toothed bucket up to 48 inches wide; compact: 52 HP, 15,900 lb, rubber tracks, push blade, zero turn, offset boom, and 18-inch or 3 ft bucket.
Mulching and tree trimming: Estimated 2,000 hours for a 24-inch mulching head and 2,500 hours for a 36-inch head, both with 90-degree tilt mounts; 2,500 hours for a tree trimmer with minimum 127 HP, 24,300 lb weight, 75 ft reach, insulated composite boom, and cab-operated front hydraulic blade.
Trucks and skid steer: Estimated 3,000 hours for tandem dump trucks with minimum 350 HP and 16 ft beds; 2,000 hours for a tracked, high-flow skid steer with minimum 70 HP, bucket, heavy-duty forks, and scrap grapple. Also needed: 25-ton minimum 4x4 articulated truck and 4WD escort truck with flashing safety lights.
Other equipment: Crawler dozers: minimum 60 HP/15,000 lb and 140 HP/33,000 lb, with angle/tilt blades; roller: 125 HP, 84-inch smooth drum, sheepsfoot pad, 10-ton minimum; wheel loader: 150 HP, 3.5 cu yd bucket, 18,000 lb; grader: 130 HP, 12 ft blade, 29,000 lb; light plant: 6 kW at 60 Hz, four lights, 12–30 ft height.
Attachments and milling: Compatible 4,000, 300, and 8,000 ft-lb breakers; vibratory ripper; hydraulic breaker; 24-inch and 40-inch high-flow cold planers with hydraulic side shift; mowing attachment with 6 ft cut and 7 ft length; skid steer ram hoe rated 700–1,300 impact frequency and 1,450–2,175 PSI. Loader-mounted milling machine: minimum 140 HP, 22,000 lb loader, 40-inch drum, and 12-inch milling depth. Road widener attachment and self-propelled road widener also needed.
