What the job is
Acreage and term: 338.43 acres planted in corn annually for crop years 2027–2031; lease runs March 1, 2027, through February 28, 2032.
Pricing: Provide annual rent per acre and total rent for each crop year, plus the five-year total. Leasehold taxes are additional and paid by the tenant.
Farming responsibilities: Tenant must personally farm the land and supply all labor, equipment, seed, fertilizer, and insurance; subcontracting is prohibited.
Standing corn: Leave 120 north-to-south rows, approximately 16.9 acres, unharvested in the designated field until after March 1 of the following crop year.
Field management: Remove fallen trees and flood debris, control weeds and pests, and maintain required soil fertility. No double cropping, dicamba, biosolids, or fall nitrogen application; tillage begins after March 1 unless approved otherwise.
Insurance: General liability of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, auto liability of $1 million per occurrence, and workers' compensation as required.
