What the job is
Campus housing: Provide five 3-cubic-yard and five 4-cubic-yard containers; 825 annual pickups per size. Service Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday during one designated week each in May, August, and December; service hours 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Main campus: Provide fourteen 3-cubic-yard and three 4-cubic-yard containers; 1,456 and 312 annual pickups, respectively. Service Tuesday and Friday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
Off-campus: Provide ten 3-cubic-yard containers with 1,092 annual pickups at 470 W. Lanikaula Street; 722 South Aohoku Place; 1079 Kalanianaole Street; 3551 Kanoelehua Avenue; 600 Imiloa Place; and 640 North Aohoku Place, all in Hilo, Hawaii 96720. Service twice weekly except 600 Imiloa Place (three times weekly) and 640 North Aohoku Place (once weekly); service hours 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
Service requirements: Supply and maintain covered containers; use a hydraulic front-end loader truck with a CDL driver; include hauling, disposal, spill cleanup, and surrounding-area cleanup.
Term: One year starting approximately December 1, 2026, with up to four annual renewals.
Pricing: Quote per pickup for each area and container size, including labor, transportation, disposal, overhead, fees, and taxes. Include delivery/removal pricing for additional 3- and 4-cubic-yard containers.
