Term and seasonThree years beginning January 1, 2027. Public swimming runs Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, with weekends only after school resumes. Briarwood and Murphey Candler also require swim practice coverage beginning the second Monday in May.
Operating hoursLynwood: Sunday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Briarwood and Murphey Candler: Sunday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
StaffingBriarwood requires 4 active lifeguards plus 1 relief guard; Lynwood, 5 active plus 1 relief; Murphey Candler, 3 active plus 1 relief. Provide a CPO/AFO-certified head lifeguard at each pool, certified lifeguard/CPR/first aid staff, weekly supervisory visits, and ongoing training.
Additional coverageInclude swim practices, meets, lessons, clinics, and special events; practices require 2 lifeguards. Quote optional before/after-hours rentals separately.
MaintenanceInclude preseason readiness, water testing every 2 hours, chemistry management, pool vacuuming/brushing, and daily deck and bathhouse cleaning. Supply cleaning materials and first aid supplies; pool chemicals, testing kits, vacuums, and rescue equipment are provided.
PricingProvide a full-scope lump sum, daily operating rates for each pool, hourly lifeguard and pool manager rates, and rental rates by pool.
